01What Mesonar is

Mesonar ("the Service") is a free, web-based set of self-knowledge tests across four dimensions: mind, self, aesthetic, and bond. Each test produces a reading — a portrait of one slice of you, plotted on a bathymetric chart.

Readings are educational and self-reflective. They are not medical, psychiatric, psychological, vocational, or legal advice. If you are in crisis or need professional support, contact a licensed clinician or your local emergency service.

Mesonar is designed and operated by Zechao Xin (the "Operator"). You can reach the Operator at sinsin19941114@gmail.com about anything on this page.

02Your account

• You sign in with Google. You don't set a password — Google handles authentication.
• You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
• One person, one account. Don't create multiple accounts to game results.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Mesonar.

03Membership & payment

Mesonar offers two optional memberships that unlock premium report templates: Basic — $4.9 USD/month, with 2 premium template unlocks per month; Pro — $9.9 USD/month, with 6 premium template unlocks per month. Where applicable, taxes are shown at checkout.

Membership is billed monthly in advance, starting on the day you subscribe and renewing on the same date each month until you cancel.

Each month of an active membership gives you a fresh set of unlocks. Applying an unlock to a template is permanent — once unlocked, a template stays available on your account.

You can cancel anytime from your account page or by writing to sinsin19941114@gmail.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep member benefits until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges are made.

If a charge was made in the last 7 days and you haven't used any unlock from the current cycle, write to us and we'll refund that charge in full. Once an unlock from the current cycle is used, the charge is final. We also honour refunds where the law requires them.

If we change prices, we'll give at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next renewal.

04What you may do

• Take any test as many times as you want.
• Save and revisit your readings.
• Share your readings publicly (screenshots, social posts, etc.).
• Reference Mesonar in articles, talks, or research, with a link back to mesonar.com.

05What you may not do

• Scrape or bulk-download other users' readings.
• Reverse-engineer the scoring algorithms to mislead users about their results.
• Use Mesonar to harass, defame, or pressure another person.
• Probe the service for vulnerabilities without writing to us first at sinsin19941114@gmail.com (we welcome responsible disclosure).

06Content & IP

The questions, scoring rubrics, visualizations, and editorial design of Mesonar are copyright © 2026 the Mesonar authors. You may share screenshots of your own readings; please don't copy the test items themselves into a competing product.

Your individual answers and readings belong to you. You can export or delete them at any time (see the privacy policy).

07No warranty; disclaimer

Mesonar is provided "as is." We make a best effort to keep the service accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that any specific reading is correct, that the service will be available 24/7, or that results from one test session will be identical to another.

Mesonar's readings are self-reflection content — they are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Decisions you make based on a reading are your own responsibility.

08Limit of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mesonar's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to USD $0 — because the service is free. If you paid for an upgraded tier in the future, that figure changes to whatever you paid in the prior 12 months.

09Breach & termination

If you break these terms — especially the "What you may not do" list — we may warn you, restrict features, or suspend or terminate your account, depending on the severity and recurrence of the breach.

If a paid membership is terminated because of your breach, the current billing cycle is not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise. For serious violations (fraud, attacks on the service) we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

10Governing law & venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service goes to the people's court at the Operator's domicile. If you live in another country or region, mandatory consumer protections under your local law remain unaffected.

11Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will bump the Last updated date below. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12Closing

Mesonar is small, opinionated, and made with care. Treat it as you would a well-made instrument — useful when you respect what it can and can't tell you. Questions: sinsin19941114@gmail.com.
